Soffits and Fascias

Our stunning range of Soffits and Fascias…

We offer a diverse range of beautifully designed and installed Soffits and Fascias. Our range can be made bespoke, comes in a number of different profiles and are designed to suit all styles of property.
The Soffits are the horizontal sections you can see under the edge of your roof. They are there to close of the area under the roof truss foot end and can play a pivotal role in the overall health of the roof structure. If they are designed to be ventilated then a ventilated replacement should always be fitted.
Fascia is the architectural term for the vertical band under the lower roof edge. This forms the outer surface of a cornice and is part of the roofline structure. The fascia is attached directly to the roof trusses and supports the bottom row of tiles. It also carries the guttering so needs to be well installed and made from sturdy materials. On an average house in full downpour, the guttering could be washing several gallons of rain water every few seconds, so fascias have a very important role.
The Soffits and Fascias available from St Edmunds Windows & Doors are made from UPVC and are designed to be as strong and robust as possible. While they can be made in any bespoke shade, the most popular colours we stock are white, rosewood, light oak and golden oak.
Constructed from UPVC means that our fascia boards require little maintenance. The robust material means that the fascias can last decades without any intervention.
Our fascia boards are made bespoke, so you can dictate the width that you require. However, the normal measurements range from 175mm – 450mm. If you’re unsure what specification you will need for your property, our design consultants are more than happy to advise.
