Garden Conservatories
All the info you need…
Conservatories don’t have to be attached to your property. Given enough space, a garden conservatory can look stunning on its own within the grounds of your home.
Garden conservatories are a fantastic way of creating an entirely different space and environment to the main building. Used as an office, creative space or just a cosy bolthole, these builds do not just add value to your home, but also your lifestyle.
These garden rooms can be anything you want them to be. Their flexibility means that they can take on any type of formation.

Edwardian conservatories are known for their simplicity. They are usually simple square/rectangle-based structure with pitched roofs. There can be minor embellishments with finials and cresting, but this is generally up to the client’s discretion.

Victorian conservatories the golden age of the conservatory harks back to the Victorian period. This was when the emphasis was on detail, formation and motif. Victorian garden conservatories commonly break out of the square-based mould and include bays, curves and more ornamental designs to their overall shape.

Loggia conservatories aspects of Italian design are in a Loggia garden conservatory. Reminiscent of an orangery, loggia conservatories rely more on a solid structure and less on an all-glass living space. These, then, are the ideal template for a garden conservatory.

Orangery – An orangery differs from a conservatory in being constructed more like a regular building. The structure is designed to be more insulating and solid with this substantial composition. So, there are more panels, columns and dwarf walls than in a standard glazed extension. While this allows a seamless continuation of the existing property, it also favours a detached garden conservatory.
